Welcome to Beginner Investing.

Hello, my name is Billy and one of my passions is investing in the stock market. Not only do I enjoy it, I also love learning about it and passing on what I know. I do a great deal of research and always look for ways to educate myself in all aspects of this fascinating way of making (and sometimes losing) money. I’ve been involved in the stock market since 2005 and have been sharing my knowledge online since 2007. I have several other sites but wanted to create this space for those who are just starting out.

My wife Joanne is also involved in this site. While I write all the posts, she edits them and does all the technical stuff.

This site is designed to help learn and understand investing. We’ll mainly focus on stock market investing but we’ll also talk about other types of investing from time to time. We’ll openly share what worked, and didn’t work for us and we’ll review and recommend various programs and books that might be helpful to you.
